Every day in Mississippi, animals suffer from neglect, cruelty, and abandonment; and too often, these cases go undocumented or unpunished. Laws for Paws MS is collecting verified evidence to present to state and local leaders as part of our mission to strengthen and enforce animal protection laws.

If you have witnessed animal neglect or abuse, you can help by securely uploading documentation. This may include:

• Photos or videos of neglect or abuse

• Screenshots or recordings of communications with owners, law enforcement, or shelters

• Police reports, filings, or case documentation

• Written statements or eyewitness accounts

Your submission helps us create a clear picture of what’s happening across Mississippi and build a stronger case for change.

Important:

• Please do not trespass or put yourself in danger to collect evidence.

• If an animal’s life is in immediate danger, contact your local animal control or law enforcement first.

• By uploading, you agree that Laws for Paws MS may use this documentation (with personal details redacted) for advocacy, reporting, or to share with authorities when appropriate.
